Your Role:

The Laboratory Technician 2 in the Process Solutions Value Stream lab is responsible for executing activities related to support of existing products that contribute to the ongoing operations of the MilliporeSigma Integrated Supply Chain

Job duties include:
-
Shift: Monday

Friday; 5:30am 2:30pm:
Work with quality and technical leads to ensure project requirements are understood and deliverables are on time
Responsible for authoring protocols, test execution, and reports that provide documentation and comply with good documentation practices
Providing technical input on microbiological and virology testing design & execution within the Technology Advancement team
Contribute to method and equipment development and improvement projects, new technology and equipment evaluation, method validation, and training
Contribute to datadriven problem solving and continuous improvement projects Engage with industry by technical conference attendance and contribute to thought leadership presentations

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or other science discipline
2+ years laboratory experience

OR

Master's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or other science disciplines

Preferred Qualfications:

Experience with viral and bacterial enumeration and assay methods
Experience with bacterial culture, mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
Experience with laboratory practices, techniques, equipment, materials, and mathematical calculations
Works well both independently and in a team.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Understanding of quality principles including ISO, quality management systems, Good Documentation Practices
