POSITION PURPOSE:


The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing parts, PO's and other materials to internal and external customers while maintaining 100% accurate inventory.

Ensure all Briggs Equipment standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


  • Prepares quotes and order requests based on equipment type.
  • Research, analyze and resolve parts discrepancies, to include purchases, shipments and deliveries.
  • Provide accurate and timely customer service and support relating to parts inquiries required for order completions with internal / external customers, vendors, supplies and branches using applicable tools and established processes.
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Clean and maintain storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  • Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Provide assistance to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices and support documents across multiple interfaces
  • Enter all pertinent data into the Company's systems
  • Receive inbound calls for industrial equipment parts inquiries.
  • Perform parts research duties through web-based, adobe programs as well as hard copy manuals.
  • Manage inbound calls for parts opportunities.
  • Source, receive, process, stock, sell and maintain parts and rental inventory
  • Communicate with internal / external customers, vendors and suppliers to include parts purchases, shipment arrangements, etc.
  • Assist in customer resolution for issues related to invoices, credit and past due parts receivables.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Knowledge & Competencies:


  • Excellent Customer Service and multitasking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish relationships with internal and external customers in a warehouse setting
  • High attention to detail and precise data entry/record keeping
  • Thorough knowledge of all computer systems, procedures, and service operations
  • Written and verbal communication skills

Previous Experience/Education:

years' experience in warehouse operations

  • High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to pounds

Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
