Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafting Technician to join our team. As a Drafting Technician, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise in drafting and design will contribute to the successful completion of projects in various industries.


Duties:

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on project requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers to understand project specifications and design intent
• Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop accurate and precise drawings
• Incorporate design changes and modifications as necessary
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Review and analyze drawings for errors or discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists and cost estimates
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of graphic design principles for creating visually appealing drawings
• Familiarity with governmental regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problemsolving skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
