Description

of Duties:

Assist with ADL's as needed
Ensure health and safety needs are met at home and in the community
Provide transportation to community events, activities, and rides
Proficiency in ABA Behavior Support & Discrete Trial
Promote and encourage the use of verbal language
Communicate with guardian and surrogate on an ongoing basis
Complete and document goals as defined in ISP; documentation is completed through the EVV system from the Support Staff's cell phone
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology or Registered Behavior Technician, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, or NADD Certification in one of the following: NADD Competency Based Clinical Certification, Dual Diagnosis Certification
Must have a valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation
At least 2 years of DSP, SSP, Behavior Technician or Behavior Specialist experience
At least 2 years of experience in working with Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Willing to Participate in Background Check
Experience with Discrete Trial Instruction
Must be dependable, and punctual

Current Scheduling Needs:
Part Time, Flexible Scheduling, 6-8 hrs. Per week, with potential for more.

Hourly rate based upon experience, staff will not be employed by Terrapin House, but by the individual's family
