Description

The Research Assistant will support agency efforts toutilize data to improve the quality of care provided to our children, families, and communities; to support staff and leadership; and to advocate for the mission andvisionof Clifford Beers Clinic.

We accomplish this through data management, analysis, and continuous improvement processes to support and inform program decisions, maximizing efficiencies, and demonstrating the value of our services.

The goal of the position is to ensure the validity and accuracy of data and findings, and facilitate the development and implementation of new research design and data collection workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistwith the development of assessments for student treatment outcomes (when standardized measures are not available).
  • Ensureassessment materials are available in languages needed by families, including researching accepted translations or facilitating translations where necessary.
  • Formatand organizepaper packets for data collection.
  • Trainprogram staff to administer assessments.
  • Createdatabases and support documentation (including data dictionaries) for the purposes of analysis, tracking, and evaluation.
  • Assistwith the development of data collection and entry workflows to ensure accurate entry.
  • Collectdata and inputinformation into database(s) for review and analysis.
  • Accurately enterdata into internal and external databases and electronic health records.
  • Trackassessments from baseline to end of treatment (or study participation) and adhereto strict followup deadlines.
  • CreateCQI processes and reports to ensure data validity, integrity, and completeness.
  • Conductreconciles among data collection systems.
  • Mergeand cleandatabases for purposes of analysis and collaboration with external partners.
  • Assistin focus group development and implementation, including note taking, transcription, and coding.
  • Conductanalysis on outcomes for a variety of school based programs.
  • Conductcollaborative analysis with internal colleagues or external collaborators.
  • Assistin report writing for evaluations, grant reports, publications and grant proposals.
  • Presentfindings to a variety of audiences.
  • Assistin other related duties as directed.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a related field with relevant experience (e.g. conducting statistical analysis and writing/presenting research findings)
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis (i.e. ttest, ANOVA, regression).
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred, including experience translating and interpreting
