Overview:

JOB SUMMARY
The role involves managing critical care patient care by implementing the nursing process, supervising licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordinating interdisciplinary care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: See License and Certifications.

Experience:
- One year of previous Telemetry experience required.
- Previous clinical experience in ICU/CCU preferred.
- Completion of a Critical Care course/update either before hire/transfer or within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of managing, prioritizing, and delegating patient care.
- Skilled in completing work assignments and other duties as required.
- Proficient in English communication, both verbally and in writing.

License and Certifications:
- Current nursing license in the state of California.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Completion of a Basic EKG course or achieving a passing score of 80% or higher on an exam within the orientation period.
- Completion of a 12 Lead EKG class either before hire/transfer or within 12 months of hire.
