Description
As a Washington Crossing apprentice, you will learn the following:

  • Production of workpieces on machine tools
  • Turning and milling techniques
  • Basic knowledge of metal processing
  • Operation of manual and CNCcontrolled machines
  • Handling of technical drawings and tables
  • Maintenance and care of machines and tools
  • Conducting quality controls
You are a good fit for our team if you:

  • Have technical interest and understanding
  • Are interested in machine work
  • Have good comprehension and willingness to learn
  • Have spatial imagination
  • Are interested in the diversity of individual and small series production
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent.

Your apprenticeship:

  • Regular duration of 3 1/2 years
  • Possibility of shortening the duration with aboveaverage performance or corresponding qualifications
  • Your practical training location is at our main plant in Niefern.
