Summary:


Coordinate the collection, storage, and distribution of food product documentation necessary for Food Service customer requirements and the needs of legal, food safety, e-commerce, and sales.

Provide administrative support to the FSQA and Regulatory teams.


What You'll Do:

Collection, organization & tracking of food product related documents such as Specification sheets, Kosher certificates, organic certificates, etc., to ensure customer documentation needs can be met upon request and provide requested documents to internal customers (sales.)


Support the Certificate of Analysis (COA) program, obtaining COAs from vendors and delivering them to the sales team upon request.

Support the FSQA and regulatory teams to request and obtain other miscellaneous requested food product information.


Cross Functional and Collaboration with:


Legal:
Vendor Compliance programs are executed timely and in accordance with corporate objectives

Food Safety:
Coordinate with Director of QA for approval of all Food Safety related documents provided by suppliers where needed.

Product Category Managers and Sales/Marketing:
For efficient product attribute collection from suppliers

Finance:
Ensuring all necessary data is collected and available for proper accounts payable support (credit forms, etc.)


About You:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university preferred. Food Science, Nutrition, product development, or other related field.

1-2 years of experience in food service distribution, purchasing, supply chain, and/or food importing preferred. Recent graduates will be considered.

Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

String organizational and electronic filing and retrieval skills including One Drive and Shared Drives.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Self-starter, professional, goal oriented and able to handle multiple tasks

Must have a sense of urgency and be able to work under pressure, be comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Flexible with the ability to work well with all departments and levels of staff both internally & externally.
Professional demeanor during all interactions with vendors, customers and fellow employees via phone or in-person.
