- Set-up and maintain Direct, Indirect and IWO (Intercompany Work Order) Projects in Deltek Costpoint
- Provide end-to-end project lifecycle support
- Participate in the monthly close activities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis for review
- Prepare journal entries (including accruals, amortization of prepaid and precontract costs, etc.)
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required
- Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel and other related Microsoft office products
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills to resolve inquiries
- Desire to learn, adapt and improve processes in a fast-changing environment
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and principles
- Government contracting experience and knowledge or FAR/CAS
- Experience using Deltek Costpoint
- Experience understanding and researching accounting standards
