Description

Behavior Technician

Hours: 2pm - 5pm end time on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday at the clients afterschool program in Charlestown, MA. The client would prefer to work with a female behavior technician.

Duties:

Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
Provide direct oneonone therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
Assist with training and coaching caregivers on behavior management techniques
Maintain accurate and uptodate medical documentation and records

Skills:

Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral therapy setting
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
Proficiency in data collection and analysis
Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
