Job Summary
The role of a Registered Nurse involves providing professional nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within the Medical Group. As a Registered Nurse, you play a crucial part in promoting, assisting, and advocating for the health of patients and families. Your responsibilities include completing the nursing process, supporting the patient-centered approach, and actively participating as a care team member. Collaboration with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary care team members is essential in ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. In addition, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, promoting, and evaluating patient care quality, in compliance with established standards and regulations governing nursing practices.
Core Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Education/Experience Requirements
Required: Graduate of an accredited associate degree program
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required: Current New York State RN licensure
Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification (must be obtained within 6 weeks of hire)
