Position Overview:
Perform Administrative work in varying degrees the Nursing Office assigned to a specific shift and tour.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that staff Time sheets are checked for accuracy before approval and processing to Payroll.
- Ensures that Schedules are mapped out, balanced for coverage before submit to the ASSOC DON for approval and posting in a timely manner.
- Enters daily staffing on Clarivia. Assist in posting daily numbers of staff in the Lobby as required by DOH.
- Responsible for record keeping of staff assigned to specific tours, file employees records, assist in submitting Performance Evaluations to Human Resources and other required documents to HR and Nursing Education.
- Answers phone calls and directs calls to the Assistant Directors, Assoc DON or to the unit as needed. Acts as a liaison between staff in the units, other departments and nursing office. Responsible for mapping out vacation request from staff before final approval.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration; or,
- A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.
