    Texas Oncology is searching for a Remote Manager of Clinical Social Work to join their team based out of the corporate location in Dallas, Texas. The company is the largest community oncology provider in the country, with founders who believed in making cancer care accessible to all communities. This position oversees social work activities at multiple sites, supporting patients' emotional and psychosocial needs.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage and mentor social work staff.
    • Address barriers and provide solutions to case problems.
    • Lead team meetings and educational sessions.
    • Assess and develop the skills of social workers.
    • Develop departmental programs and initiatives.
    • Network to find community resources for patient care.
    • Provide therapeutic counseling and emotional support.
    • Contribute to Value-Based Care initiatives and provide education to patients and staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in social work.
    • Minimum seven years' experience as a licensed, masters-prepared social worker.
    • Experience in oncology, hospice, or palliative care.
    • Two years of project management or supervisory experience.
    • Valid state master's-level license.

    Working Conditions:

    Traditional office environment with exposure to oncology/hematology clinic conditions. Performing computer-based work and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.

    Physical Requirements:

    Full range of body motion, standing, walking for extended periods, and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
