    Overview:

    Job Summary:

    This position is responsible for special projects and strategic planning including but not limited to; analysis/management of revenue cycle, development of physician retention and recruitment plan, administration of physician wellness plan, and point of contact for special projects. This position serves as a key liaison to the President. This position also promotes collaboration with all providers and management staff of Decatur Morgan Hospital. This position requires the ability to analyze data, communicate clearly and professionally, and understanding of hospital revenue cycle.

    Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

    1. Assist the President with projects.
    2. Facilitates communication between involved departments to establish timelines and project flow.
    3. Works closely with the President and Leadership team to establish strategic planning and organizational goals.
    4. Manage hospital and professional revenue cycle and overall practice efficiency analysis and plan of corrective action.
    5. Develop a 5 year physician recruitment and retention plan.
    6. Assist MEC and Senior Team Leadership with development of a Physician Wellness Plan.
    7. Work with various leaders on special projects such as; 340B, EMS billing, Occupational Medicine billing, and practice acquisitions.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

    Education:

    Masters degree in Business/Hospital Administration, finance or other related field preferred.

    Experience:

    Previous experience in a healthcare setting required.

    Additional Skills/Abilities Required:

    1. Skilled managing timelines and coordination of various people and services.

    2. Ability to prioritize goals.

    3. Possess ability to communicate clearly and timely.

    4. Pay attention to detail.

    5. Extensive knowledge of hospital operations.

    6. Extensive knowledge of health care environment.

    7. Ability to plan and allocate resources, e.g., financial, personnel, space.
