Duties:


  • You will support the ownership and control of developing, managing, and executing operational work streams, resources, and provide recommendations and advice to leadership in the management of Navy ERP Core Services
  • You will collaborate with various managers to ensure successful integration of development projects into sustainment.
  • You will establish and manage program metrics for Core Services to ensure services meet or exceed Navy ERP operational priorities (e.g., trouble ticket service level targets, financial closing operations deadlines, etc.).
  • You will conduct analysis of Core Services to ensure effective development and execution of functional activities for various Navy ERP business streams and/or lines of efforts.
  • You will conduct risk management analysis activities to ensure to mitigate, monitor, and control the probability or impact of cost, schedule, and performance risks or to maximize the realization of opportunities.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

_Supporting the planning, distribution, and management of Navy ERP Core Services resources or equivalent (e.g., funding, manpower) to increase efficiency and effectiveness._

  • Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.


This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.

The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.

Several vacancies may be filled.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions.

Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 3), the total adjusted salary may be capped equivalent to GS 14-7 Step 7 at $1167,276 (Washington, DC) or GS-14, Step 7 at $149,50 Mechanicsburg, PA) (Adjusted Pay).

The salary range shown above is capped equivalent to GS- 14, Step 7 at $67,276 (Washington, DC) or GS-14, Step 7 at $149,501 Mechanicsburg, PA) (Adjusted Pay)


A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
