Description
We are a growing manufacturing company in search of an above-average individual to fill the role of CNC Machine Operator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Reads and interprets blue prints
- Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Properly and safely replace inserts and materials onto machines
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
- Perform first piece inspection on simple geometry
- Clear chips from parts during operation stops
- Identify part defects and alert supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and producing parts in accordance to prints
- Understand tolerancing
- Experience with gauges and measuring instruments
- Experience with ISO and safety procedures
- Selfmotivated individual
EDUCATION:
High school education required; certificate or diploma in machine operation or relevant discipline a plus
