BKF is searching for a skilled
Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team to help collect, process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and maintaining a strong working partnership with our valued partners and clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain Accounts Receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable subledger
Responsible for contacting clients and collecting outstanding receivables.
Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.
Assist Accounts Payable with employee expense reports, credit cards, and other reconciliations.
Support other accounting functions, duties, and team members as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Office Suite

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay:

The anticipated salary range for this position will be $29 - $37 per hour and will vary depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
