When you join our corporate enablement team as an
Accounting Coordinator you are joining a passionate team dedicated to providing empowerment, support, and long-term solutions to our internal and external stakeholders so they may achieve their best and nurture belonging in our apartment communities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting Administrative Support

  • Process and code invoices and wires.
  • Process and post cash payments and post accounts receivable for commercial and multifamily operations.
  • Support Accounts Payable team in the vendor onboarding process as needed (ACH callbacks and compiling vendor survey responses).
  • Mailing and coordinating vendor communications and emergency payments.

General Administrative Support

  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and delivery of periodic and adhoc communications to tenants (including tenant statements, rental increases, late fees, estimates, reconciliations, and default notices).
  • Research and respond to tenant questions.
  • Provide requested documents and schedules to external auditors
  • Manage and track distribution of documents between teams.
  • Manage team's monthly task list and support activities as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactive and critical thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to exercise excellent judgment in a variety of situations, communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decisionmaking.
  • Demonstrated organizational management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation exhibited in daily interactions.
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
