The
Machine Operator is responsible for the productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety of assigned production processes. This position will be cross-trained and proficient in three departments within the operation: Drawing, Annealing, and Respool.

The job requires the ability to know and be productive in each of the capacities for the purposes of maximizing flexibility of the operation.


The Associate will be specifically responsible for:

  • Uptime of the machine pertaining to setups, basic mechanical problems, quality issues, etc.
  • Quality of product produced. Associate will be responsible for testing product in process to ensure individual customer standards are exceeded.
  • Efficiency of equipment and attainment of production schedules as defined by Supervisor
  • Involvement in projects and other tasks as assigned by Management
  • Adherence to all safety standards and cleaning and organization requirements as defined by Safety processes and 6S program

Job Requirements

  • Good math skills
  • Proven success in a mechanically oriented role
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Prior work experience working with measurements and devices
  • Ability to navigate fluidly on a Computer
  • ISO Quality systems knowledge, preferred
  • Must pass preemployment drug and background screening
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
