Description
What do OTAs do?

OTAs assist in surgeries and operate state-of-the-art technology, handle surgical instruments, and are responsible for adhering to strict hygiene regulations. They prepare operating rooms and patients for upcoming procedures, take care of maintenance of medical equipment and instruments, and handle documentation and administrative tasks after the surgery.

As they need to operate various modern devices in the operating room, proficiency in digital technology is a key requirement for this profession. In addition, OTAs should not only be reliable and responsible, but also be able to organize themselves independently and work flexibly in constantly changing teams.

A internship is a great opportunity to get a closer look at this demanding field.
