    Summary

    The Operations Management Trainee will aid in shop management, cost reduction, customer retention, and metric-driven projects. This role involves collaboration across various departments including Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management. The pace is quick, providing exposure to all facets of the business unit. You'll gain valuable industry insights, skills, and tools for advancing your operations and fleet maintenance background. We empower you to shape your career growth and prioritize internal promotions, based on your performance. An ideal progression from this role is into an Ops Supervisor position.

    Shop Location: Lafayette, IN

    Schedule: Monday - Friday

    Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

    Salary | Paid Weekly

    Essential Functions

    • Manage customer relationships through quality interactions, proactive management, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the rental department to maximize utilization without compromising lease customers.
    • Support Sales staff on customer visits for new business and enhanced customer satisfaction.
    • Supervise running costs and maintenance expenses, ensuring adherence to policies for optimal efficiency.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to guarantee customer contentment.
    • Ensure accurate PM scheduling, breakdown follow-ups, and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and adaptability.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Post-training program, relocation within the business unit is mandatory.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    • Basic comprehension of Business Finance, controls, and metrics; beginner level required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree is a must.
    • Minimum of one year customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
