Senior Helpers of Riverside is hiring caregivers for overnight shifts in the cities of Calimesa/ Banning for a sweet elderly lady.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.

Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
• Support individuals in participating in social activities and community outings
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and daily activities

Experience:

• Previous experience in social work, dementia care, home care, or patient care is preferred
• Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
• First aid certification is desirable

Skills:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
