Description
Enterprise Technology's Next Lab Studio is seeking a motivated and skilled Management Intern to lead Digital Twin efforts.

This position will lead development teams of multiple digital twin projects under the direction of the Studio Director and be responsible for staying up-to-date on changes in spatial computing, modeling techniques, data mapping, immersive experiences, and innovations in the industry.

Next Lab envisions the future to imagine how changes in technology and society might impact learning through responsible innovation, futures thinking, and human-centered design.

Next Lab is a value based initiative, focusing more on guiding principles for ethical futures and responsible innovation than on any specific technology or tools, driving innovation in game-based learning, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, and web3.

Our Studio, comprised of student-led and run teams, utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as the Unity game engine and Meta Quest headsets to create proofs of concept (POCs) and minimum viable products (MVPs) for various partners and stakeholders in cross-institutional, empowered communities of practice to realize those potential futures for the ASU community.

We deploy design-based research methods to investigate the efficacy, viability, and scalability of these POCs and MVPs, building large-scale initiatives to increase institutional capacity around the most promising advancements.

In Next Lab Studio, we foster creativity and experiential learning for working students to take part in bold exploration and experimentation.

We enable the ASU community to imagine, play, learn and iterate through authentic collaboration, where positive growth and societal impact within a human-centered learning environment fuels product/project/platform creation and outcomes.

The studio is powered by students, under the mentorship and guidance of ASU faculty and staff.

  • We envision futures that are more inclusive, equitable and accessible across the globe
  • Where learners aren't just participants, but agentic and selfdetermined architects of their education
  • Driven by transdisciplinary collaboration and exploration
  • Elevated by social networks and technologies that nurture a robust community ecosystem
  • Focused on the cultivation of imagination, curiosity, and play
  • Built by diverse learners as creators, makers, producers, and inventors
  • Anchored by a steadfast commitment to ethical, sustainable, and principled innovation
  • Guided by the Seventh Generation principle, building sustainable futures for generations to come.
