Our client, based in Waterloo, CA, is a highly successful service group that caters to both business and private customers on an international level.

Their business areas cover a wide range of complex and sustainable topics for the future.


Responsibilities:


Reporting directly to the CFO and being a part of the Executive Team, the position holder will lead the local teams at the headquarters and regional finance managers.

They will be responsible for all financial policy matters of the Group, including:


  • Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Business Intelligence for the Group
  • Developing and implementing reporting processes and standard procedures
  • Managing efficient finance department structures, such as Fast Close, Shared Service, and ERP
  • Enhancing the SAP landscape for relevant functions
  • Planning and overseeing strategic finance projects in line with the company's transformation
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, including the board, regions, peers, works council, and employees
  • Providing financial advice to the global senior management team

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Diploma degree from a university or college
  • Proven experience in financial management of international companies with complex and large structures, including a presence in Europe, USA, and Asia
  • Practical and leadership experience in large, globally operating companies, with a "Playing Captain" mindset at the corporate level
  • Relevant experience in managing large projects and/or transformation programs, such as implementing ERP/finance software, reorganizing operating models, and supporting growth phases and new locations
