    American Sardine Bar, located in the heart of Philadelphia's Point Breeze neighborhood, is seeking Front of House staff. Are you ready to hang with the cool kids?


    Way back when Point Breeze was just another forgotten neighborhood name, American Sardine Bar opened as a chalkboard menu-driven, beer-focused, dive-y yet kinda-nice joint that seemed a little out of place, but also somehow fit right in.

    Twelve years later, ASB is a Philly hotspot for killer cocktails, fresh-tapped craft brews, and creative food fare.

    We've come a long way, baby and without any loss of character ASB is the same diamond in the rough, just a bit more polished and grown up.

    We're primarily looking for barbacks/hosts/support staff who would hopefully want to advance into server and bartender roles ASB is all about forward movement, and we pride ourselves on promoting from within.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Must be availble to work nights & weekends
    • Maintain a stocked bar & replenish supplies throughout service
    • Organize & clean bar area
    • Cut & prepare beverage garnishes
    • Monitor & replenish ice supplies
    • Clean & polish glassware
    • Bus tables and run food as needed
    • Communicate openly with bartenders, servers & managment staff
    • Assist in setting up & closing down bar at beginning & end of service

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be able to stand & walk for hours at a time
    • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50lbs
