    Our accounting team is seeking a Sr.

    GL Accountant with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and a passion to drive process improvements and help us build a public company-ready organization.

    You will play a pivotal role in scaling the accounting function and have a meaningful impact.

    A successful individual in this role is someone who is a self-starter but unafraid to ask questions or make suggestions; someone who works collaboratively and is solution-oriented; and someone excited to apply their accounting knowledge to a new challenge.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform certain monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and reports
    • Record intercompany transactions and complete reconciliations between different entities within the organization, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany balances.
    • Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules, additions, disposals, and impairment assessments.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional business leaders to complete monthly accruals.
    • Prepare and flux monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Fully support and help drive initiatives to improve & operationalize processes, innovate, and help resolve cross-functional issues as part of the Finance and Accounting team.
    • Assist in general corporate accounting matters and ad hoc projects or requests.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field
    • 4+ years of corporate accounting experience with a combination of Big 4 Public Accounting and Industry, preferably in SAAS or high growth technology company
    • CPA a plus
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
    • Quick learner, ability to identify issues and resolve problems applying critical thinking to complex accounting issues
    • Strong experience and knowledge in U.S. GAAP and internal controls
    • Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
    • Strong Excel skills

    The annual salary hiring range for this position is $106,000 - $125,000 USD.


    Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location.

    At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.

    The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits.

    Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
