    Quality Supervisor - Coating

    Job Overview:
    Supervise, monitor, and provide inputs to projects quality control activities. Coordinating all inspection activities being undertaken in their allocated area.

    Ensuring allocated inspectors are aware of quality requirements and are in possession of or have access to latest revision of project inspection and test plan.

    Ensuring that non-destructive testing is performed in timely manner and material traceability is recorded and submitted progressively to certification section.


    Key Tasks and Responsibilities:


    Perform Shop and Field Inspections of surface preparation and coating application in accordance with project specification, Coating Procedure and scope as noted Inspection Test Plan (ITP).

    Read and to understand the Project requirements, Review and familiarize with Project AFC drawing, Specification, applicable Codes Standards, Data sheets ,Coating Procedure, ITP, method statements, technical queries & Work Instruction relating to assigned project.

    Enforcement and verification of work performed in accordance with specification, manufacturer recommendations and coating procedure.

    Responsible to leading quality inspector team to fulfill project requirement (Coating, Insulation, PFP on piping, structural) at all phase of the project.

    Highlight and report for any nonconformities that deviate to Saudi Aramco requirement/project approved Quality Manager as per the approved QMS and Project Quality Plan.

    Conduct awareness and guidance to all QC inspector and Craft involved in Project as per Saudi Aramco requirement.
    Ensure that fabrication and inspection are comply to Schedule Q ,SAES, SAEP, SAMSS and Project required documents.
    Plan the Focus Assessment on the fabrication activity and assign QC Inspector to conduct the assessment.

    Essential Qualifications and Education:


    Internationally recognized university, four (4) or five (5) year Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline, with seven (7) or more years and with Three (3) or more years of direct work experience in QC supervision – or – High school diploma with twelve (12) or more years and with Three (3) or more years of direct work experience in QC supervision of capital project construction & Pre-Commissioning quality related to the engineering discipline and scope of WORK (e.g., industrial oil and gas production or petrochemical projects, Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language.

    Certified to SSPC Level 2 or NACE level 2 and Current international certification (i.e., IRCA or ASQ) as a Quality Auditor, or equivalent, for the 2015 version of ISO 9001.

    Practical experiences with all inspection activities related during all phases of project fabrication, erection & installation.

    Minimum 7 years' experience (for Bachelor Degree) or 12 more years (for High School) of direct work experience in inspection of capital project quality, ISO 9001 QMS requirement, activities and resources for construction and pre-commissioning of material and equipment.

    Minimum 3 years' experience as QC Supervisor of capital project construction & pre-commissioning quality.
    Saudi Aramco Project experience is an advantage.
    Bachelor Degree/Senior High School
