- Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage daily vegetation management operations to support the Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) Programs across multiple regions including the Bay Region, Central Valley, North Coast, Central Coast, North Valley, and Sierra foothills.
- Perform assessments, marking, and reporting on vegetation mitigation to increase clearance around critical utility infrastructure.
- Develop and implement fuel reduction treatments following wildfire mitigation best practices.
- Ensure proper vegetation management along access roads to maintain safe access to work sites.
- Provide onsite support and supervision to contract crews, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Secure access agreements on private and public property and manage negotiations with landowners.
- Handle permitting requirements with various stakeholders and agencies.
- Maintain accurate reporting to clients and contractors and conduct quality assurance follow-ups.
- Bachelor's degree in forestry, urban forestry, environmental science, natural resources, or related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in GIS and data collection technologies.
- ISA certification and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in utility vegetation management or related field.
- Clean driving record and proficiency in operating 4x4 vehicles.

Job DescriptionSalary: $ $47.70Become a Contract Vegetation Program Manager (CVPM) with Hotshot Arbor Care and do things right, the first time. We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working outdoors. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid Driver's License.
These are full-time, hourly positions and they are field based positions that will require the ability to travel. Work locations are located in northern and central CA. Contract Vegetation Program Managers will perform a variety of vegetation management duties while providing leadership and client satisfaction.
