- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Serve as a high-level contact for customer account(s) while working directly in many cases with key customer relationships in conjunction with executive management.
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and potential future needs.
Oversee development of new business with existing customer(s) and/or identify areas of improvement, to grow the account organically.
Collaborate to achieve excellent customer solutions, sales and margin goals, and OTD.
Coordinate with production on schedules, delivery commitments, and improved OTD.
Ensure complete and accurate processing and expediting of job orders.
Review quotes including price, availability, delivery time, and other information as needed.
Verify post-order activities: delivery updates, quality issues, return authorizations, are processed accordingly.
Rectify product/service challenges by clarifying customer concern, identifying root cause, providing solution, expediting corrective action, and following up, to ensure satisfactory resolution.
Compile and maintain accurate actionable sales reporting on customer account statuses.
Ensure timely/responsive communications, approachable service/solution attitude, order accuracy, backlog review in ERP.
Monitor inventory requirements against customer order demand, maintaining forecasting and budgeting analysis.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service management role
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication skills i, both written and verbal
- Ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions
- Proficient in project management principles
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and resolve issues in a timely manner

Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Account management: 2 years (preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (preferred)
- ERP systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
- Epicor: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Champaign, IL 61821: Relocate before starting work (required)
