Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage room bookings inperson, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
- Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
- Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers
- Handle customer complaints as necessary
- General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and uptodate
Other duties as assigned by the management_
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- Wellversed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
- Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
- Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
- At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Overnight shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- Hotel management: 2 years (preferred)
- Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
- Spanish (preferred)
