Experienced CNC Machine Programmer
Demco Products is a family owned and operated precision CNC machine shop specializing in the manufacturing of high-pressure filter housings and precision turned components.
We operate out of a 15,000 sq ft facility, located in Oak Lawn, IL near the southwest side of Chicago.
Manufacturing consists of 30 CNC machines capable of performing turning as well as horizontal and vertical milling. We are an ISO 9001:2015 company with capacities of 1⁄2 diameter up to 12" diameter.
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC machine programmer to help us transfer programs away from older Warner & Swasey lathes (M5060/M5020) with Allen Bradley controls to a new Doosan Lynx 2100LSY machine with Fanuc controls.
Job Requirements:
- Must have proficient knowledge of G-Code programming language and be capable of editing code at the machine
- We do not have MasterCam so having access to MasterCam software to assist with programming would be a plus
- Must be familiar with Fanuc controls
- Must have 2+ years of experience setting up and running CNC lathes ideally from the following manufacturers: Doosan, Warner & Swasey
- Must speak English
- Must be able to read small print and inspect small components
- Must be able to stand and walk the shop floor to monitor machine operation
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be reliable and show up to work on time
- Must have sound problem solving skills
- Must poses a strong mechanical aptitude
- Must communicate well and be able to follow instructions
