    SUMMARY:

    The OutboundFulfillment Area Specialist is responsible for successfully coordinating the outbound process flow. This position interacts with an area manager and lead daily to receive guidance and feedback. Many non-routine activities will require a supervisor's advance approval. The role is characterized by a basic level of scope, moderate level of complexity, and a basic level of independent decision making.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide problem solving for the shift to ensure customer orders are received in a timely manner
    • Monitor and report progress of expected shipped units for daily goal
    • Manage and address any process concerns that arise
    • Assist in tracking attendance daily as well as upkeep of roster throughout shift
    • Process path training for new team members as well as facilitate retrains
    • Ability to move into process path in order to ensure customer demand is met
    • Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization in conjunction with GameStop's respectful workplace policies.
    • Work weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts
    • Work overtime both in peak season and as needed
    • Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
    • Walk in/and around the warehouse with great frequency; many facilities are over a quarter mile in length
    • Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
    • Lift and move items up to 50 pounds

    BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required — Bachelor's degree is preferred
    • Warehouse leadership experience preferred
    • Ability to lift and/or move boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds on an infrequent, as needed basis
    • Must be able to walk long distances, bend, stoop, climb on ladders, and drag wooden pallets weighing up to 50 pounds on an infrequent, as needed basis

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

    • Ability to comprehend and adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including, but not limited to, those related to attendance and scheduling requirements, honesty and integrity, confidentiality, safety, and conflict of interest
    • Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English.
    • Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office software programs; including, but not limited to Access, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
    • Ability to accurately type and enter information into a PC using a keyboard and mouse.
    • Ability to retrieve, analyze, validate, organize, and report data electronically and on paper.
    • Proficient basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Proficient ability to work collaboratively with others; conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
    • Proficient ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
    • Proficient project planning skills; including the ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities.
    • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentially, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
