Responsibilities

Provide assistance to patients under the supervision of nursing and medical staff, helping with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities.
Monitor and report on patients' progress to the Registered Nurse or other medical personnel.
Take and document patients' vital signs, and collect specimens for lab tests.
Offer basic patient transportation and perform housekeeping duties.
Record patients' fluid intake and output and other metrics as per unit protocols, assist with range of motion exercises, and conduct blood draws.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Completion of high school or GED
Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Job Requirements

At least two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care settings
Completion of a recognized CNA, PCT, or paramedic program, or current enrollment in nursing school
