Day Shifts For Food Service and Catering To You Associates
Below is an overview:
A day in the life of a
Food Service Associate at Hackensack Meridian _Health _includes:
- The Food Service Associate prepares and delivers patient meals within strict deadlines while maintaining high level of patient satisfaction for food and nutrition. Responsibilities include preparation/assembly of meals, assisting with dishwashing and utility work and/or handling register.
Catering To You Associate at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- The Catering to You
- Patient Dining Associate is responsible for assisting our patients with menu selections and works hand-in-hand with our Food and Nutrition Department. This individual will work closely with our clinical staff regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements and use this knowledge to cater to specific patient requests and needs all the while keeping meals nutritious and satisfactory
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Good communication and customer service skills required.
- Must be able to lift, bend and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be flexible with working various days including alternating weekends and holidays.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
