The CITY OF BAYREUTH is looking for six young professionals for the study program to become a Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH) (m/w/d) in municipal administration. The young professionals will complete a three-year program with theoretical study periods at the University for Public Service in Bavaria (BayHföD), Department of General Internal Administration, combined with practical study periods at the city administration.

Our requirements

One of the requirements for employment is the successful participation in the central selection process conducted by the Bavarian State Personnel Committee (expected date for the written selection exam: ).

To be admitted to the selection process, you must:

  • Be a German citizen according to Article 116 of the Basic Law or hold the citizenship of another member state of the European Union or of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland, or acquire it by the time of employment,
  • Have at least an unrestricted Fachhochschulreife (university of applied sciences entrance qualification) or an educational level recognized as equivalent by the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Culture, or have acquired the higher education entrance qualification through successful professional advanced or further training exams (master craftsman's examination or equivalent professional advanced training exams, graduates of technical schools and academies) in combination with a counseling interview at a Bavarian
