Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Chart preparation
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Obtain and document patient vitals
- Submit prior authorization request for medications as needed
- Fax referral to radiology facility, physical therapy and specialty physician when ordered
- Schedule future procedures and/or office appointments
- Clean and stock exam rooms
Requirements:
- Selfmotivated
- Capacity to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Communicate professionally with patients and all levels of personnel
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problemsolving
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to multitask
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Working knowledge of office equipment (e
g:
scanner, phone, and copy/fax machine)
- High School diploma
- Medical Assistant Certification
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- 1+ experience in a medical office/healthcare environment
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
