Description
A Snapshot of Your DaySiemens Energy Gas Services Central Large Generator Manufacturing Business Segment is hiring an Inventory / Financial Analyst to be an integral member of this highly visible, dynamic, and hard-working team.
As a member of the finance team, you will have primary responsibility for Inventory controlling, forecasting, & budgeting activities as well as process-improvement development.
In addition, the position will also be responsible for supporting external auditing requests related to inventory and collaborating with technical partners in support of project execution and related activities.
How You'll Make an ImpactInventory reporting & forecasting
Account reconciliations – Inventory, Accounts Payable, Aging, Reserve
Lead Bi-Monthly Inventory reporting for MGN & MSU
Prepare & analyze reports from SAP and other databases/tools
Support the development of financial plans & monthly forecasts
Month End closing involvement incl. JE postings etc.
Research and respond to data requests in a timely manner
Supporting External Auditing Requirements (E&Y)
Lead SOA Controls for Inventory and RIC (Risk/Internal/Control) testing
Fulfillment of ad-hoc requests
Establishment and continuous improvement of processes
What You Bring
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
5+ years' experience in finance/accounting or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills; able to clearly and concisely express information (or data) to technical & non-technical associates, peers, and management
Experience in forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis
Proven understanding of SAP (FICO)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be able to identify issues and resolve them independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to work within teams - conceptualizes and socializes ideas, makes recommendations, and facilitates team consensus to move forward.
Proficient with Microsoft OfficeAbility to conduct various forms of financial analysis (trend, variance)
Attention to detail, organization, and desire for continuous improvement and innovation
Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects or assignments

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
