    Steadily is an insurance technology company that specializes in rental property insurance for landlords. We're Series B, just over 100 people, manage $6B in risk, and are intent on becoming the world's best and largest insurer of rental properties.

    We exist to deliver fast, affordable insurance and to pay claims quickly and fairly. To do that, we hire the best engineers, actuaries, sales, and service people in the country to build the experience that we'd want if we were the client.

    Our Client Experience team's core mandate is to deliver world-class, end-to-end experiences for our customers, both insureds and independent agencies, that drive brand loyalty and retention. You'll be a part of delivering on that mandate.

    As a Customer Support Specialist - Insurance & Billing on the CX Customer Support Team, you will:

    • Respond to high volume of inbound calls and email requests from insureds, lenders, and carriers to address servicing requests for active policies.
    • Process updates to policy records in our agency and document management system (Salesforce).
    • Perform clerical and administrative tasks related to policy servicing; e.g. sending certificates of insurance, application signature requests, submitting invoices / taking payment, and processing general endorsement requests.
    • Provide direct support for servicing requests from Steadily's sales agents.

    • Customer Service Experience: You have direct experience working in a customer-facing support role; you possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
    • Tech Savvy: You have above average technical skills; learning to navigate new systems and tools is easy for you.
    • Hungry: You want to make the leap into an earlier-stage tech company to rapidly accelerate your growth. You want to roll up your sleeves and hustle – you are not looking for a traditional 8-5 job.
    • Ambitious: Achieving your goals could take beyond the traditional 45 hour work week, but you're willing to do what it takes to excel. You don't watch the clock when you are working towards your goals.
    • Self-Driven: You thrive under intense pressure and can manage a large workload with minimal oversight. There is no task too small or beneath you; "that's not my job" is never your mantra.
    • High Energy: Even on your worst day, you treat it like it's your best day. You don't let a difficult conversation with a customer bring you down. You can turn any problem into an opportunity.
    • Strong Work Ethic: You commit to finishing your work. When something is difficult, you don't throw up your hands and say "I don't have time. I can't do it." You are a self-sufficient problem solver and don't need to rely on others to find solutions.

    Required Licensing

    • P&C licensing is not required for this role. However, we strongly encourage you to work towards obtaining your Property & Casualty Insurance license to expand your skills and capabilities.
