    Dermatology Physician Assistant gpac, a renowned recruitment company with over 30 years of experience, is proud to partner with a well-established company in the field of Dermatology.

    Our client, a privately owned clinic in the Chicago area, is seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant to join their exceptional team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough patient examinations, including medical history review and skin evaluations
    • Diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers
    • Perform minor surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cryosurgery
    • Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options
    • Collaborate with the dermatologist and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in electronic medical record systems
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies and laboratory work
    • Prescribe medications and other treatments for dermatological conditions
    • Provide followup care and monitor the progress of patients during treatment
    • Stay updated with current dermatological research and advancements through continuing education activities

    Skills:

    • Must have a minimum of 2 plus years of dermatology experience under a Board Certified Dermatologist
    • Strong knowledge of common dermatological conditions, treatments, and procedures
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and other relevant software applications
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced clinical setting

    Benefits:
