    Senior Project Developer

    Location: Midwest, with proximity to Illinois preferred

    Role Overview: Join us as a Senior Project Developer and make a significant impact on our utility-scale project development initiatives. Take the lead in project development, engage with stakeholders effectively, and oversee zoning procedures. This position calls for an experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years (preferably closer to 10) in similar roles, showing proven expertise in navigating zoning for utility-scale projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of large-scale renewable energy projects, particularly in solar energy.
    • Supervise and support a team of developers through guidance and mentorship.
    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders like landowners, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure project accomplishments.
    • Apply comprehensive development skills to resolve technical obstacles across project phases.
    • Manage project schedules and finances to achieve predetermined objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Environmental Science, etc.).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing renewable energy projects, preferably in utility-scale solar projects.
    • Demonstrated history of effectively managing zoning procedures.
    • Background in team management or mentorship.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
    • Willingness to travel when necessary.

    Compensation:

    • Base Salary: Around $160,000
    • Bonus: Around 40%
    • Participation in Equity Plan: Available
