    IT Support Specialist
    at 6 River Systems

    As an
    IT Support Specialist at 6 River Systems, you will support 6RS team members, providing one-on-one in-person, virtual, and remote support and education for hardware and software.

    This role is located in the greater Boston area.


    The job:

    • Provide a high level of technical support to our end users daily
    • Setup and deploy end users computers and peripherals
    • Resolve hardware, software, educational incidents
    • Participate in onboarding and training new RIVs joining our 6RS teams
    • Coordinate and collaborate with teams across 6RS and Shopify to drive issue resolution
    • Adhere to 6RS and Shopify security policies and best practices
    • Update and maintain hardware and software inventories
    • Virus and malware remediation

    Were looking for a
    Service Desk Engineer with:

    • Experience in a desktop support or service desk role
    • Experience with Windows 10, macOS, and Ubuntu Linux
    • Previous experience with JAMF suite
    • Develop and maintain instructional documentation
    • Basic network knowledge
    • Prior experience with Google Workspace
