New Tech Global is currently seeking a Delivery Driver for an oil and gas client in Rosharon, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Overview
We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our client's Rosharon team. The ideal candidate will operate a pickup truck with a 20' trailer to deliver loads to machine shops located within a 20-mile radius of the warehouse. This role requires experience in operating cranes and forklifts, as well as managing inventory and restocking the warehouse. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading pallets and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

Operate a pickup truck with a 20' trailer to deliver loads in a safe and timely manner.
Safely load and unload pallets, ensuring proper securing of loads.
Utilize crane and forklift equipment to assist with heavy lifting and maneuvering.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and restocking activities.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Receiving shops will off load delivers

Qualifications

Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
Must be able to pass a motor vehicle report, criminal background, and drug screen.
Prior experience operating cranes and forklifts is essential.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and restocking procedures.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, and to safely operate equipment for loading and unloading.
Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and delivery routes.
