What to expect

As a mechanic for the underground workshop at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Zielitz, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Maintenance of large mining equipment
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Adherence to safety and health protection documents (SGD), general and job-specific operating and service instructions, legal regulations, and technical documentation
What you bring
  • Successfully completed vocational training as a mechanic, commercial vehicle technician, or agricultural machinery fitter, or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge of mobile hydraulics and diesel engine technology is advantageous
  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends underground
  • Teamwork, flexibility, reliability, and resilience
