The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems.
A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

This role will work hand in hand with an engineering lead - requirements management, FEMA process for the enterprise.
This person will be supporting the application they use for engineering processes.
Will be working on service support tickets that come in for user community for applications, responding to and helping the users based on their requests.
Identifying issues in test/QA environment before being deployed into production. Document issues and work with IT partners to work on upgrades, problem solving, coordinating resolution of issues.
Will also help with performance issues discovered in production environment.
Will help train people on this application
Desired Experience
some engineering process knowledge, experience in the development of product (not software), help drive continuous improvement and engineering efficiency.
Experience with Engineering software/engineering tools huge plus
Onsite 5 days/week
Will work on Power BI dashboards must have some data visualization experience with either Power BI or Tableau
Core role is the technical business support lead for the application.

Interview process:
will do an informal call first and then will set up formal panel interview. Would like to do an in person interview with local candidates, virtual is fine for non-local.
Candidates with an engineering background is great as long as they are okay being in a ticketing/service support role.
