Position Description:
As a Hospitality Associate, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Understand and comply with Applied Medical's Quality Systems (QS), safety rules, and company policies.
  • Execute and learn the current Point Of Sales (POS) program.
  • Perform necessary tasks, including checking stock, rotating items, completing product sales, maintaining presentation, and aiding the customer journey.
  • Assist with food packaging and light kitchen prep work, as needed.
  • Ensure clean and efficient work areas.
  • Conduct station and kitchen breakdown.
  • Sustain store cleanliness with attention to opening and closing checklists.
  • Label and store food by procedures for endofshift.
  • Read, support the production of, and execute the daily catering schedule.
  • Exhibit proper sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food handling practices per the California health code.

Position Requirements:

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food handler's certification.
  • Read and comprehend instructions and correspondence, including recipes, order sheets, and schedules.
  • Outstanding interpersonal capabilities, exuding professionalism, warmth, and approachability.
  • Enthusiastic teambased work ethic with a customerfocused, serviceoriented mindset.
  • Working knowledge of sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food handling practices per the health code.
  • Adaptable and remains calm under pressure.
  • Exhibit exemplary customer service techniques with strong communication skills.
  • Skilled at multitasking in a fastpaced environment and working under strict deadlines.
  • Possess basic knife and food displaying skills and an awareness of various cuisines and ingredients.

Preferred:

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Minimum two years of experience working in a restaurant, catering, or a hotel setting.
  • Minimum two years of proven cashier and frontofhouse experience.
