Position Summary:


As a Count Team Attendant, you will play a crucial role in accurately counting, verifying, and documenting currency and coins collected from various casino departments.

This is a part time position, mornings.


Part Time Schedule:

Mon, Thursday 6:15am - 12:00pm:


  • Wed, Fri 8:00am
  • 11:00am:
-
Tues, Sat, Sun 7:30- 11:00am

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Count and verify currency, coins, and chips collected from gaming tables, slot machines, and other revenue-generating areas within the casino.
  • Accurately record and document count results, documenting any discrepancies or variances discovered during the counting process.
  • Operate and maintain currency counting machines, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to strict security protocols and regulations to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with casino regulations and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of counting activities, documents, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in training programs to stay current on cash handling procedures, security measures, and any updates to counting protocols.

Position Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and document large amounts of currency.
  • Integrity and a strong sense of responsibility in handling sensitive financial transactions.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to strict timelines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a small team.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
