Hub 757 is looking to hire an additional Event Specialist to join our team. Event Specialists are the face of Hub 757 caring for clients, vendors, and guests during each event.

During a shift an Event Specialist will greet all who enter the venue and ensure guests are informed of the space and location of the event.

Through the duration of the event the Event Specialist is onsite to answer any questions or assist in needs that are brought to attention.

This is not a planner position and the Event Specialist does not facilitate events as a coordinator would.

This part time position requires you to be knowledgeable about events and guest services. Hub 757's Event Specialists tend to booked events by welcoming clients, vendors, and guests to our venue.

Event Specialists must be knowledgeable of event operations and our venue in order to provide the highest level of customer service.

Events worked will include, but are not limited, to wedding receptions and ceremonies, business meetings and seminars, social gatherings, trade shows, etc.

The position requires working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are picked up by the Event Specialists and not assigned by management.

  • Be a visionary offering solutions or alternatives when needed
  • Work independently as they are often the only staff member on site
  • Enjoy meeting new people and building relationships

Responsibilities:


  • Follow directions issued by Manager
  • Always provide the highest quality of service to guests
  • Handles guest inquiries and provides information relative to the building, local surroundings, amenities, and activities
  • Remaining present before, during, and after the event until all guests have exited the building
  • General sanitizing of spaces rented, as needed
  • Assist vendors, such as florists and caterers before, during, and after events
  • Overseeing scheduled event from start to finish
  • Completing a pre and post event check of the building for all events worked
  • Administrative duties in preparation of events
  • Other related duties may be assigned

Qualifications:


  • Must be available to work week nights, weekends, holidays and late hours
  • Maintain a professional image as you are the face of Hub 75
  • Must possess a positive mental attitude, an open mind and flexibility in approach
  • Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stand, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in the events and hospitality industry required
