    Job Description

    CFO / Controller needed for a fast-growing business in Rayne, LA. We are looking for a senior team member who is passionate about assisting in this growth.

    Looking for a long-term employee that wants to be part of our fast-growing team. We have been in business for 32 years and are comprised of multiple business divisions. This position will oversee two accounting assistants and perform some of the work.

    BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 5 years work experience as CFO / Controller and will have demonstrated strengths in analysis, planning and forecasting and interpersonal skills.
    • Have a broad appreciation and understanding of finance, business management and the interrelationships among these disciplines, as well as thorough knowledge of finance and general accounting operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

    · Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required

    · Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

    · Work with outside CPA firm for tax preparation & strategy ......

    · Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

    · Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records

    · Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor spending against budgeted targets

    · Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for business growth

    · Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

    · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

    · Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

    · High level of financial acumen with the ability to provide strategic insights

    · Human resources experience

    · Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management.

    · Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

    · Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

    · Ensure all accounting personnel are effectively managed and report directly to you.

    · Develop / Implementation of future profit sharing program.

    SALARY:

    Compensation is commensurate with experience and expertise. Salary is competitive. This is a salaried position.
