- Establish Sanofi as a leader in Immunology, in partnership with an Alliance company encompassing the therapeutic areas of Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory & Allergy.
- Provide inspirational and strategic leadership to the US Medical Affairs Immunology team (Medical Directors, Medical Science Liaison Managers, MSLs & Medical Operations Manager) by cultivating a culture of teamwork and collaboration to ensure the delivery of key priorities, while attracting, developing and retaining top talent.
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated Medical Plan (Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Education, Medical Communications and Publications, Health Outcomes, Safety and Clinical Research (Dupilumab and Itepekimab)) and annual budget for Immunology products.
- Ensure strategic and cross-functional alignment across the organization to achieve the Medical mission of supporting safe and appropriate use of all immunology products.
- Provide impactful medical strategy and expertise to Clinical, Commercial, Market Access and Regulatory partners.
- Conducting and overseeing training and education events for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide medical review and approval of promotional and medical materials in compliance with corporate standards and government/industry regulations.
- Review, approve and supervise all aspects of US Phase IIIB - IV clinical study programs.
- Lead the review and approval of IST concepts/protocols according to applicable SOPs.
- Gather insights from all healthcare stakeholders (e.g. KOLs, payers, and competent authorities) while maintaining professional relationships within the medical and scientific community.
