Your Responsibilities
- Implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the network infrastructure (LAN, controller-based WLAN, segmentation, microwave links) within the Papier-Mettler Group in Russellville
- LAN and WLAN planning in complex industrial and logistics environments
- Integration of IIoT devices into the network environment
- Management of our on-premise VoIP PBX systems and associated UC environment, including problem analysis and resolution
- Monitoring and improvement of IT security in the areas of network and VoIP infrastructure
- Support for our employees in the mentioned areas
- Participation in on-call duty
Your Profile
- A completed education or degree in information technology - or a comparable professional qualification
- Excellent knowledge in the areas of network, WLAN, and VoIP telephony, including the associated protocols and standards (e.g. TCP/IP, IEEE 802.1Q, IEEE 802.1p, IEEE 802.11, OSPF, SNMP, SIP, RTP)
- Experience in network security (NAC) and related mechanisms such as RADIUS, TACACS+, and IEEE 802.1x desirable
- Ideally, experience with Windows Server and VMware (specifically in relation to networking)
